if you are having trouble viewing quicktime movies, make sure you have quicktime 5 or later.

If your computer is unresponsive or crashes when viewing quicktime movies and you are on a Macintosh OS 9.2 or earlier, make sure your web browser has enough memory. You may change the memory settings by selecting the application icon in the finder and selecting Get Info from the File menu, use the drop down in the Get Info window to select memory, you may then add to the 'preferred size' field.
