Digital Video Asset Management begins with our hardware based, realtime mpeg 2 compression. At bitMAX, we take great measures to create perfect digital files from your source masters. We provide data entry (metadata) at the time of procurement based on clients’ request. We enter as much information as our clients care to include. This can be the names of Director, Producer, Editor and Director of Photography names to locations used and the Ad agency and its creatives. Our QC process is rigorous and repetitive on both the ingest side, where we examine the signal quality of the tape master provided with great care -- to the encoded side, where we QC the resulting digital file on several platforms. We commit your digital file to your archive when we are positive we have the most beautifully encoded version of that master that technology can generate. Our clients have the security and comfort of knowing that their work will look as good as the master tapes they have provided to us, in perpetuity. BitMAX offers its clients access to its proprietary transcoding software. Once your master has been digitally archived, bitMAX can use this proprietary transcoding software to create other file formats for the internet as well as for DVD and CD ROM (such as Quicktime, Windows Media, Real Player, MPEG1, etc). In essence, the ablity to transcode provides our clients a 'future-proof' digital archive. As new versions of Windows Media, Quicktime and Real Player are introduced, bitMAX can instantly update a clients archive with web files tailored to any format. We take tremendous pride in our compression. Browse through
