Bitmax, the new media management and licensing company, has appointed Jim Riley as their Chief Revenue Office, responsible for the company’s strategy, products, sales, and marketing across the globe.
Jim is a well-known Media & Entertainment industry expert with over 25 years of digital media business development expertise. He joins Bitmax from digital rights leader Mediamorph, where he is credited with opening new territories and expanding the business products and customer verticals, especially in the area of content supply chain innovations.
Jim began his career at AMC Networks and was later tapped to join the launch team of E! Entertainment Television. At E!, Jim directed strategic sales, including DBS and new tech verticals. Riley joined TVN in 2000, where he is credited with establishing the first global VOD platform and crafting industry-wide deals initially with every MVPD In North America, leading premium content providers and TV networks. During his tenure, Riley orchestrated solutions for dynamic ad Insertion, Live-to-VOD quick turn for C3 content, SVOD service models, and enabled new business verticals in hospitality, airline, and OTT services. In 2009, TVN merged with Avail-Media and was later rebranded Vubiquity. Through a career of innovations, Riley was honored as the youngest 2014 inductee to the Cable Center’s “Cable TV Pioneers”.
